The Service Dept. is great! I had both headlights burn out within the same week, they got me right in and took care of the bulb replacement for just the cost of the bulb. Fantastic service.
I was in the market to buy a used 2dr GTI, and found a listing at Coastal Volkswagen online. I called ahead to make sure the vehicle was available and drove down from Boston to take a look and test drive. My experience with the salesperson Nick was great, as I made it clear from the beginning what my intentions were. I was only interested in this specific car, and he was incredible helpful without trying to sell me on something else. I ended up signing an agreement to purchase the car, but opted to secure my own financing from my local bank (the car was too old to be covered by in-house VW financing). Because this would not happen same-day, I would need to finalize paperwork once financing was all set. Frustratingly, there is no way for paperwork to be signed digitally or over fax with this dealership. I do not know if this is standard for all dealerships, but it made the process extremely inconvenient. This is my only reason for not giving 5-stars.
Thankfully, the entire team was understanding and accommodating. After the initial sale with Nick, Sarah became my main sales contact to finalize the purchase. She went above and beyond to prepare my car and address all my concerns. I chose to purchase with Coastal because other dealership reviews warned of poor post-sale experiences. I am incredibly happy with the service and support from the entire staff, and would recommend Coastal Volkswagen to anyone looking for good post-sale support. As with all car buying experiences, it is helpful to know what you want and to be able to communicate directly with the staff about your concerns. They are there to give you what you pay for, and were exceptionally responsive throughout the process. I am a very satisfied customer.
Wholehearted recommendation for this smaller dealership that's part of the bigger Coastal chain. Evan, the salesman, and Heather, their finance person, worked with my budget, my choices and helped lock me in as a sale on my first visit. My biggest gripe with the other dealerships I visited was either not listening to my requirements, and subjecting me to old fashioned "hard sell" techniques. Here I had a conversation, worked with what they had and what they offered, and walked away feeling good about my purchase. Would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.
Truly exceptional service! I was on my way into Boston for work when my check engine light began flashing and I could feel like engine shake. I quickly drove to the nearest dealership hoping they were open. I pulled up to the service bay and they took me immediately. They reassured me that I was in good hands and serviced my vehicle. I was back on the road in under an hour! Couldn't be more happy with the kind and welcoming staff here at Coastal VW.

Sarah ( the sales rep ) and Heather ( the financial rep ) were both truly amazing . Don't know too many car dealerships that can do a sign and drive in an hour and 15 minutes that is being financed ! I arrived 10 minutes before opening and Heather warmly greeted us and asked questions and started the financing process . Sarah worked in my budget! Both ladies were attentive and considerate of my time constraints !
